29 September 2017: African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) has hired Cheikh Diedhiou as Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Advisor to assist with transaction due diligence and asset management for the firm. The new hire further strengthens the firm’s ESG focus and builds on its commitment to responsible environmental practices, social engagement and strong governance throughout its operations, which has been shown to contribute to longterm sustainable financial success.
Mr. Diedhiou has over 10 years’ experience in environmental and social impact and risk assessment and management across mining, infrastructure and agriculture with Earth Systems, where he’s worked on a range of private, government and development projects in West Africa. He also brings strong experience in national regulations, and international best practice standards to his new role.

Mr. Diedhiou will start his new role on the 1st October 2017 and will be based in Cote d’Ivoire.
