The 140MW Khobab wind farm, is situated adjacent to the Loeriesfontein Wind Farm in the Hantam municipality, 60km north of the town of Loeriesfontein in the Northern Cape.

The farm, which spans 3,136 hectares of agricultural land, comprises sixty-one Siemens 2.3MW turbines, reached Commercial Operations on date and on budget in December 2017 as part of the third round of the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).
