The 140MW Kangnas Wind Farm, is situated 50 Km East of Springbok, in the Northern Cape’s Nama Khoi Municipal area and reached Financial Close in May 2018 under Round 4 of the South African government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).

The farm, which spans 3591 hectares of agricultural land, comprises sixty-one Siemens 2.3MW turbines.
