African Portland Industrial Holdings Ltd (API) consisted of two port handling facilities, the Walvis Bay Bulk Terminal (Namibia) and Terminal de Carvao da Matola (Mozambique), as well as bulk logistics operations in Johannesburg, South Africa.

API was a legacy asset acquired by SAIF in 1998. Following the appointment of AIIM as Fund Manager in 2001, SAIF disposed of its equity interest in API in 2003.
