Roggeveld, a 147MW wind farm, is one of 9 independent power projects (IPP) renewable energy projects awarded a 20-year power purchase agreement with Eskom in round 4 of the South African government’s Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme (REIPPPP).

The project achieved financial close and the construction period began in April 2018.  Commercial operations are scheduled to commence on 30 April 2021.
