Gigawatt is the first IPP in Mozambique to use natural gas. The Project entails the development, design, construction, financing and operations of a 118MW gas fired power station under a 15 year PPA with the Mozambican state electricity company (EDM).

Gigawatt aims to increase the production capacity of energy using the country's resources, while also boosting its sustainable development.
