AIIM support The Sports Trust Piketberg BMX Bike Park

AIIM teamed up with The Sports Trust to establish the Piketberg BMX Bike Park project for the sport-loving Caledon community in Piketberg, South Africa. Created to give more young people chances for personal development and access to opportunities through sport.

It will form part of a larger development aimed at ensuring the youth have access to various sporting facilities. This includes outdoor activities like football, rugby and cricket as well as indoor sports like pool and darts.

Recognising the importance of developing the communities around AIIM and its projects, the team commits time and resources to enhancing prospects for those across the country, and the continent more widely.

Talking to SuperSport, AIIM Investment Director, Ashwin West, said, “This project will provide education as well as health and wellness opportunities for the community, but outside of school.

“We see this as a very interesting initiative where the community, the municipality and the private sector have come together through a co-ordinated effort to provide an upliftment for the community.”
