Oakleaf Investment Holdings 83 (Pty) Ltd holds a 50% stake in the Lesedi Power Company (in the Northern Cape). Oakleaf 83 participated in the finance, construction, operation, and maintenance of two solar photovoltaic (PV) projects - Lesedi and Letsatsi, which each have the capacity to generate 70MW. The Lesedi solar PV facility covers 150 hectares with approximately 277,000 solar PV panels per site. Similarly, to Letsatsi, the project started construction in 2010 and was operational by mid-2014.

IDEAS hold 75% interest in Mbadlala Energy Investments, a 100% black owned renewable energy company with minority shareholding in Lesedi and Letsatsi.
