Nigeria’s Starsight Energy plans east Africa solar power expansion
AIIM portfolio company, Starsight Energy, plan to expand into east Africa, looking at Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania. An agreement is expected to be finalised at the end of April. Potential for distributed solar has huge potential, as evidenced by record revenue growth for Starsight, through 2020.
Expansion into east Africa is expected to be benefit from the lessons learned in the more challenging energy market of Nigeria.
