AIIM wins Infrastructure Deal of the year at 2021 PEA Awards

We are delighted to have been awarded the Infrastructure Deal of the Year award at this year’s Private Equity Africa Awards for our investment in MetroFibre.

AIIM invested in MetroFibre in November 2020 via our AIIF3 and IDEAS Funds, as part of efforts to expand essential digital infrastructure across South Africa.

Launched in 2010, MetroFibre is a high-growth player in South Africa’s Fibre-To-The-Home and Fibre-To-The-Business markets.

The Private Equity Africa Awards reward the best long-term performing management teams across the African continent and we’re delighted to have been recognised by such a prestigious industry accolade.
