Dami Agbaje discusses how AIIM is building a Pan-African cold chain platform

African Infrastructure Investment Managers (AIIM) is developing sustainable cold chain infrastructure in Sub-Saharan Africa to improve food security and enable global trade. AIIM's 72% stake in Commercial Cold Holdings supports 10 facilities in South Africa and Namibia. Investment director Dami Agbaje emphasises using renewable energy to reduce carbon footprints and meet ESG demands. By enhancing energy efficiency and reducing food waste, AIIM aims to support local farmers and drive economic growth, with plans to expand into other African regions.
